It had been here at first. Before all other venues in the Olympic Park. Back in 1967 the Olympic Ice Stadium had been opened, long before the construction works for the Summer Olympic Games began, at a time, when there were still planes taking off and landing at the here located airfield of the Oberwiesenfeld.
