The album is regarded as a milestone in the history of German rap: the 2016 album *Palmen aus Plastik*, a collaborative project by Bonez MC and RAF Camora. Immediately after its release, the album entered the charts at number 1 and remained in the Top 100 for 129 weeks. To mark the tenth anniversary of their bestseller, the pair are now going on tour; they will be performing at the Olympic Hall just before Christmas.

One is a founding member and frontman of 187 Strassenbande, the other one of Austria’s most successful musical exports. Each in his own right is an absolute heavyweight in the world of German-language rap. The pair first collaborated in early 2016 on Bonez MC’s guest appearance on RAF Camora’s solo album *Ghøst*. During a performance by the Strassenbande at the famous splash! festival in Chemnitz in the summer of 2016, the two then announced the production of a joint album.

“Palmen aus Plastik” has won several awards, including “Best National Release” at the hiphop.de Awards and “Best National Album” at the Juice Awards. The video for the title track alone has been streamed more than 100 million times. The success of their co-production inspired Bonez MC and RAF Camora to follow up with two further collaborations – “Palmen aus Plastik 2” (2018) and “Palmen aus Plastik 3” (2022) – both of which also reached number one in the German charts. It was once again at the splash! festival that Bonez MC announced in July that he would be going on tour with RAF Camora to celebrate their 10th anniversary: performing at the country’s biggest arenas, culminating in a grand finale at the Olympic Hall.
