Calum Scott

Avenoir Tour 2025

Olympic Hall

Sensitive melodies, lyrics with depth and, of course, that unmistakable voice. His songs are about love and hope, self-discovery and identity, acceptance and tolerance. With his emotional and reflective lyrics, Calum Scott has been inspiring and touching his fans for ten years. The singer-songwriter from Hull in the north of England is now coming to the Olympic Hall with his third album ‘Avenoir’.

Calum Scott celebrated his breakthrough in 2015 on the casting show ‘Britain's Got Talent’, where he reached the final with his interpretation of the hit ‘Dancing on My Own’ by Swedish singer Robyn. The song earned him second place in the British charts and his first platinum award. In 2018, his debut album ‘Only Human’ reached number 4 in his native UK, and in 2022 the songwriter released his second album ‘Bridges’. Scott also enjoyed great success with the song ‘Where Are You Now’, co-produced with Belgian DJ Lost Frequencies. This took him to number 5 in the German charts.

Songs such as ‘You Are The Reason’, ‘Biblical’ and ‘Rise’, which was recognised by Rolling Stone as one of the ‘50 most inspiring LGBTQ songs of all time’ and in which some passages (‘And I've been hiding in the shadows / Wondering if I'm on the right road’) reflect his own difficult path to coming out, were all about big feelings. Scott's new single ‘God Knows’ was released in April 2025, a foretaste of his third album ‘Avenoir’. A term from ‘The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows’ that describes the desire to be able to relive memories backwards.
