With *Die Kinder spielen verrückt*, the trio are releasing their eighth studio album – and once again bringing honest, danceable songs into children’s bedrooms. ‘Die Kinder spielen verrückt’ – the album’s title track – is an electro-punk anthem celebrating precisely this chaos: maximum energy, minimum parenting advice. A song that liberates rather than explains. ‘Zieh dich bitte warm an!’ affectionately dissects excessive caution when it comes to clothing, whilst ‘Schieb es auf die Kinder’ provides perhaps the best everyday excuse for overwhelmed parents.
