Fäaschtbänkler

Tour 2026

Olympic Hall

Powerful brass music with booming basses, pop and techno paired with yodelling Oberkrainer sounds. Folk music interpreted in a modern way, somewhere between mountain air and mountain grove, that is the exciting sound spectrum of the Fääschtbänkler. After many acclaimed performances at numerous festivals, the rousing Swiss multi-instrumentalist quintet is now coming to the Olympic Hall for the first time on 1 May 2026.

In 2008, the five musicians Andreas Frei, Roman Wüthrich, Marco Graber, Michael Hutter and Roman Pizio founded their band in Kriessern near St. Gallen. With their third album ‘Mitten in die Scheibe’ (2016), the Fääschtbänkler entered the charts in their home country for the first time. In 2018, they also reached the top 100 in Germany for the first time with ‘Partyplanet’ and are now one of the top acts in the genre of new folk music with multiple gold and platinum awards and almost two million monthly listeners on Spotify.

The Fääschtbänkler have thrilled their fans at their performances at the legendary Brass Wiesn in Eching, at the ‘Woodstock der Blasmusik’ in the Innviertel region and at many other festivals, including Nova Rock in Burgenland and Frequency in St. Pölten. After their guest appearance at Tollwood in June 2025, the Swiss lads will return to Munich on 1 May 2026 with all their instruments, from trumpet to accordion, from saxophone to alphorn, from drums to electric bass. They will also be bringing their big hits such as ‘All In’ and “Glück”, ‘Humpa Humpa’ and of course ‘Can You English Please’ with them - to get the Olympiahalle dancing and yodelling.
