There will be a 21.1 km half marathon and a 10 km run. There is a 5 km "fun run" for beginners. The 10 km run involves completing a 5 km lap of the Olympic Park twice, while the half marathon involves 4 laps and a final lap of 1.1 km. Around 2,000 runners have registered so far, the majority of whom have signed up for the half marathon.
The mini marathon is back this year, with the youngest runners completing 500 metres and the older runners 1,500 metres.
This year, the starting gun will be fired at 10 a.m. in front of the north entrance to the Olympic Stadium, which is also where the runners will complete their laps and cross the finish line. Runners will receive a functional shirt at the finish line and children will receive a surprise gift. Fruit refreshments will be provided at the finish, and isotonic thirst quenchers from xenoft and wheat beer from Erdinger Alkoholfrei will be available to drink.
Late registration is possible on 18 April and 19 April in the Tennis Bistro in the Olympic Park from 4.00 to 7.00 pm - and on Saturday 20 April in the Olympic Stadium (North Entrance) from 8.00 am, as long as starting documents are available.
