Political satire in revue form, a show with plenty of subversive potential and top-class live music with a first-rate band. That's right, we can only be talking about Jan Böhmermann and the Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Ehrenfeld. After his exhilarating and acclaimed performance at the Olympic Hall in 2025, the cabaret artist and presenter is now returning to Munich – with his new programme ‘Auf! Auf! Ehrenfeld!’

With ‘TV Magazin Royale,’ he set new standards in German television satire from 2013 onwards, often provocative and polarising, not always uncontroversial – and multiple award-winning. ‘Fest & Flauschig’ with Olli Schulz also became a huge success after its premiere in 2016, as one of the most streamed German-language podcasts on Spotify.

Since 2017, Böhmermann has been touring German venues every two years, following ‘Eisern Ehrenfeld’ in 2025 with his new programme ‘Auf! Auf! Ehrenfeld!’ Of course, the 15-piece Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Ehrenfeld, already known from his ZDF show, will be there again this time. Under the direction of Lorenz Rhode, the orchestra has already played with various music greats, from Herbert Grönemeyer to Kraftklub to Placebo. It has long been considered one of the most renowned radio orchestras in Europe.

At a time when the world itself sometimes seems like a completely surreal real-life satire, Böhmermann does not want to avoid the gloomy present, but rather face it head-on: ‘Hiding your head in the sand is not an option. The only thing that helps against the seeping poison of fear is to stride forward powerfully and have fun! Auf! Auf! On the offensive! It's going to be a fantastic show!’
