Johannes Oerding

Arena Tour 2026

Olympic Hall

Udo Lindenberg described him as having a ‘throat of gold’ back in 2005 - at a time when Johannes Oerding was still touring the country's smaller stages as a largely unknown artist. The musician is now one of the most successful German singers and singer-songwriters, filling the biggest halls in Germany with his performances. His upcoming arena tour will also take him to the Olympic Hall on 18 April 2026.

The career of the musician, who was born in Münster in 1981, began at a town festival on the Lower Rhine. He played at small concerts and festivals for five years. Johannes Oerding became known to a larger audience in 2009 through appearances in the supporting programmes of top stars such as Simply Red and Ich + Ich. From then on, his career took off, followed by his debut album ‘Erste Wahl’, which reached 39th place in the charts, and his third album ‘Für immer ab jetzt’, which placed in the top 5 for the first time. His song ‘Nichts geht mehr’ took him to second place in the Bundesvision Song Contest in 2013. ‘Alles brennt’ was his first single to go gold in 2015. With ‘Konturen’ (2019) and ‘Plan A’ (2022), he reached the top position in the German album rankings.

After a short break, Oerding is now returning to the live stage. The TV host of ‘Sing My Song’ is embarking on an indoor tour in 2026, during which he will also make a guest appearance at the Olympiahalle on 18 April - the same venue where he wowed audiences in 2013 as support for Joe Cocker's ‘Fire It Up’ tour and performed at the Night of the Proms in 2015 before celebrating his solo premiere as the main act in 2023. Now the throat of gold is returning to Munich.
