Canadian author, psychologist and podcaster Jordan Peterson is coming to the Olympic Hall. The professor emeritus, who taught at the University of Toronto and Harvard for 25 years, published an international bestseller in 2018 with his book ‘12 Rules for Life’. His views on social, political and ecological issues have repeatedly caused controversy.
His YouTube channel has more than 8.6 million subscribers and his book ‘12 Rules for Life: Order and Structure in a Chaotic World’ has sold more than 14 million copies. The follow-up book ‘Beyond Order: 12 More Rules for Life’ also became a bestseller. His latest book was published at the end of 2024: ‘God: The Struggle with One Who Is Above All’. Peterson has polarised audiences in the past with controversial statements on gender politics and wokeness, identity politics and the cult of masculinity, as well as climate change. The Canadian has rejected criticism that he is a pioneer of the new right and spreads right-wing and radical ideas among his followers. Peterson describes himself as a ‘classic British liberal’.
