European Junior Synchronised Swimming Championships
30 June – 4 July 2026
This summer, the heart of European swimming will be beating in Munich. At the European Junior Synchronised Swimming Championships, Europe’s best young athletes will demonstrate what makes this fascinating sport so special in the iconic Olympic Swimming Hall.
What at first glance appears to be a graceful choreography is the result of months of training: The athletes hold their breath underwater, lift their teammates into the air and move in perfect synchronisation to the music, down to the second. Strength, endurance, coordination and artistic flair make synchronised swimming one of the most demanding sports of all.
The event is organised by the German Swimming Federation (Deutscher Schwimm-Verband e.V.) in collaboration with European Aquatics.
