Noah Kahan began writing songs at the age of eight on his parents’ farm in rural Vermont. At 18, he signed his first record deal; shortly afterwards, he moved to New York and released his debut album, *Busyhead*, in 2019. The album features songs in the finest folk-pop tradition, exploring themes of growing up, doubt and vulnerability. Lyrics from the songbook of coming of age.
With “I Was / I Am”, Noah Kahan made his debut in the UK charts and the Billboard 200 in 2021; he scored a hit in 2022 with his third album “Stick Season” and the single of the same name, both of which reached number one in the UK. The impressive Netflix documentary “Out of Body” explored Kahan’s journey in the months following his career breakthrough, accompanying him to sold-out concerts and studio sessions, but also as he returned home to his family and grappled with inner conflicts. With his fourth studio album, “The Great Divide”, Noah Kahan has now written another chapter in his musical career. Following performances in North America in December, his biggest headline tour to date will also take the artist to the Olympic Hall.
