Handball

Top-class handball: in 1972, the Olympic Hall hosted the first Olympic indoor handball tournament. Since then, it has repeatedly been the focus of national and international handball. Most recently at the 2019 World Cup and 2024 European Championships. The next high-class tournament is already in the starting blocks: the 2027 Men's Handball World Cup, this time at the SAP Garden in Munich's Olympic Park.
