Even if his name may not be familiar to all music fans, he is one of the most successful composers in the world. His music can be heard on the radio and on television, in movie theaters and video games, in stadiums and on sports fields—and on streaming platforms, where his productions have been streamed billions of times. Now Thomas Bergersen, co-founder of “Two Steps From Hell,” is coming to the Olympic Hall for the first time as a solo artist.

In 2006, Thomas Bergersen and Nick Phoenix founded the duo and began producing music for movie trailers, video games, and commercials, as well as for films themselves. From Avatar to Harry Potter, from Star Wars to The Chronicles of Narnia. With their rousing, dramatic, and emotional compositions, Two Steps From Hell have thus made their mark on the soundtracks of major blockbusters over the past 20 years.

Their most successful track was the song “Heart of Courage.” The song became the official entrance music for the 2012 European Football Championship and is still played before kickoff today by several German clubs, from the Bundesliga to the regional leagues. A song guaranteed to get stuck in your head. Two Steps From Hell also celebrated great success on their tours; in 2023, they delivered a spectacular performance at the legendary Wacken Festival, among other venues. With their epic, cinematic sound, Bergersen and Phoenix took the stage at the Olympic Hall that same year, transporting the audience into their sonic universe. Now, on his solo tour, Bergersen brings his grand anthems to the stage, once again combining the intensity of a rock concert with the power of symphonic orchestral soundscapes.
