On 10 May, at the same time worldwide, the starting gun will sound for hundreds of thousands of participants of our charity run. As one of a total of seven cities, Munich will once again host the popular flagship run, in which over 14,000 runners and wheelchair users will take to the course together. If you want to take part in the organised run through, you should secure your starting number quickly, because while there are no limits to the emotional highlights at this event, the number of participants is limited.
Use the Wings for Life World Run app to start from anywhere in the world on 10 May and do something good. Whether individually on your own favourite route or together in a group at numerous App Run events across the country, thanks to the virtual catcher car, the integrated audio experience and the team function, every App Runner is connected to the global starting field regardless of location and can enjoy the unique running event up close.
At the Wings for Life World Run, it doesn't matter whether you are a top athlete, amateur runner or complete beginner. There is no finish line. Instead, the Catcher Car sets off 30 minutes after the start and gradually overtakes the runners and wheelchair users.
The best thing is that 100% of all entry fees and donations go towards spinal cord research and help to cure spinal cord injury.
