It was three hot days in the Olympic Park: around 60,000 visitors enjoyed an action-packed and varied festival at MASH 2026.

“We witnessed top sporting performances and incredible team spirit in temperatures of up to 35 degrees. My heartfelt thanks go to our entire team and everyone involved who made this event possible despite the extreme conditions! Thanks to our extra measures, such as the refreshing water misters, we were able to make the heat more bearable for our visitors,” said Olympic Park Director Marion Schöne, adding: “Climate change will present us all with new challenges. If we do not want to do without outdoor events, we will have to tackle extreme weather conditions with appropriate measures and innovative ideas. Despite everything, MASH has a loyal following, as the last few days have shown, and I am delighted that so many Munich residents came to visit us in the park despite the circumstances. Last but not least, I would like to thank the City of Munich and the sponsors who have supported us.”

The sports programme featured five competitions. Spectacular tricks and plenty of airtime were on display from the skateboarders on the vert ramp, just as they were from the BMX and MTB riders on the jump line. The wakeboarders put on thrilling competitions at the lower part of the Olympic Lake, whilst the street dancers battled it out at the Theatron. The colourful and varied MASH Fest was right at the heart of the action.
