The modular, mobile structure promises climbing fun for all ability levels. Spread across three levels, there are 36 to 38 climbing stations of varying difficulty – suitable for beginners as well as experienced climbers. Up to 60 people can climb the tower at the same time. Those who enjoy a particular challenge can abseil from a station at a height of around 18 or 22 metres. The centrepiece of the tower is the spacious viewing platform, which opens in early May. Covering an area of around 170 m² and accommodating up to 80 people, it offers an impressive view of the park and the Olympic Stadium – and thus also of the ongoing renovation work on one of Munich’s most iconic buildings.
Here’s how the high ropes course works: after a brief briefing, you’ll proceed from station to station, securely harnessed, across swinging elements, wobbly bridges and exciting climbing obstacles. The total climbing time, including the briefing and getting kitted out, is two hours.
Children aged 6 and over and at least 125 cm tall may climb when accompanied by an adult. For safety reasons, the maximum weight limit is 120 kg.
The SAYAQ Adventure Tower is generally open from March to November.
