It was only in June that they caused a sensation once again: at Rock am Ring, when Papa Roach arrived by helicopter for their spectacular stage performance. That’s not to be expected at their concert in the Olympic Hall, but fans of rock can, of course, look forward once more to a breathtaking and certainly loud evening, featuring the biggest hits and best songs from the band’s 30-year career.

It is difficult to pigeonhole Papa Roach into a single genre. Sometimes it’s nu metal, sometimes hard rock, sometimes gothic, sometimes alternative. They were influenced by bands such as Faith No More and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against the Machine and even the Beastie Boys. The Californian band made their breakthrough in 2000 with their second studio album, *Infest*, which reached number 5 in the charts in both the US and Germany. Songs such as ‘Last Resort’ and ‘Between Angels & Insects’ went on to sell millions.

The fact that, even after more than 30 years as a band, they are still among the most phenomenal live acts was demonstrated in the summer of 2026 at numerous prestigious festivals, whether at Rock am Ring or Rock im Park, Hurricane or Southside. Papa Roach are now continuing their “Rise of the Roach” world tour. On 13 November, they’ll be performing at the Olympic Hall, featuring all the great songs from their career, as well as brand-new hits such as “See U in Hell”, the soundtrack from the Netflix fantasy action series “Devil May Cry”. Joining them on their tour as support acts are the French metalcore giants Landmvkrs and the US nu-metal newcomers Sleep Theory.
