Amusement rides of all kinds are, of course, once again a key part of the summer festival. Children’s days with reduced prices and the Kids’ Zone are also on the programme, of course. As are the row of stalls for browsing and shopping, and the food stalls offering culinary delights from all over the world. And last but not least, the “Bar du Soleil” is a wonderful place to relax and celebrate with cool drinks in a laid-back atmosphere during the summer festival.
A particular highlight are the four themed weekends – a new experience every weekend!
31 July – 2 August: Bavaria & Culture
As well as traditional costumes, the Bavarian way of life and tradition, there’s plenty more on offer this weekend: dog lovers can look forward to the popular Dachshund Day on Sunday, which features activities such as a walk and an obstacle course.
At the same time, the large farmers’ market, featuring regional produce and traditional crafts, and the colourful parade through the Olympic Park create a lively, Bavarian atmosphere. The Schafkopf crash courses invite visitors to learn this traditional Bavarian card game.

7–9 August: Handmade & Arts and Crafts
A weekend of discovery and creativity: numerous exhibitors will be showcasing their artistically crafted, one-of-a-kind pieces – from jewellery and ceramics to textile art and more. Visitors can also get creative themselves through a range of workshops and hands-on activities.
Further highlights: the Water Lantern Festival on 7 and 8 August, and the Treasure Hunt Influencer Flea Market on 8 August. And on 12 August, the KJR’s mobile youth club will be taking place, before the grand fireworks display over the Olympiasee creates some magical moments in the evening.

14–16 August: Gaming & Kids
This is where digital gaming worlds meet classic games: modern console stations, arcade machines and VR stations sit side by side with board and card games.

21–23 August: Body & Mind
With a mix of high-intensity workouts and relaxing classes, the summer festival’s closing weekend offers fresh inspiration for a mindful lifestyle.
On 21 August, Poets’ Day, poetry slams, inspiring workshops and a writing workshop also invite you to get involved. ‘Slay, sweat, sip’ is the motto for the premiere of Cathy Hummels’ Reformer Pilates pop-up at Coubertin.
